2 days surrounded by Paris contained by September - never be what should I see??
I will be spending two days (Sept 10th and 11th and the day of the 12th) In Paris
I hold never been to Paris, much smaller amount France - so what should I see in my small fanlight of time - I will of course try to product it to the louvre and eiffel tower but what else? I think I want to see the catacombs - would that be cool?
I am after travelling to a town called Reims - is at hand anything around that region that I should see?

Answers: Well, for a first time visitor, I would enunciate that three days in Paris is impressively short, but should enable you to see the leading monuments described in virtually any guide book: the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, the Champs-Elysées, etc. As for Reims, that's the largest city surrounded by Champagne country, so I would recommend visiting neighbouring vineyards. (In incorporation to checking out Reims itself of course.)
2-1/2 days should achieve you some decent sightseeing. Stop surrounded by at the Louvre for a couple of hours. If your time is limited manager straight for the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. you must be able to voice you saw those. One of my favorite pieces in the museum, which is complex to miss, is the Nike ... or the "Winged Victory of Samothrace". it's huge and sits on one of the staircase landings.
Take a sightseeing tour on the Seine. Make your bearing to Pont Neufe and go downstairs into the quayside. You can pick the boat up fairly fast and it's about a 1 hr. trip. The alternative is to do like thing at hours of darkness where you see the monuments lit. It's magnificent. Both trips are great. Different perspectives.
I'd recommend a two year pass on the Go-Yellow (I focus that the name) tour bus line. Four different bus lines that intersect at different points. On & Off privileges and you hit adjectives the major points of the city. They're nature of cool just to ride around surrounded by for a while and get a look at the city. Head straight for the upper deck if you can. It's 27E for the two sunshine pass and you can release on the boat ticket (7E instead of 10E) by buying it on the bus. AND you save time.
Drink wine and devour lots as often as you can. LOL.
Enjoy. When you're done you'll want you'd had more time but 3 days surrounded by Paris is better than none. Always.
I suggest you avoid The louvre because is too big and you will pass the in one piece day and logically you will finish your day stressed and seeing a short time bit, people say that a person wishes 28 days for seeing he Lovre propperly.
I suggest you walking by the Seine river side, walking in St. Germain, if you resembling palaces, like me, shift to Versalles, you can spend half daylight and see everything.

In Reims, you sould look in the cathedral, one of the most important contained by France. You should visit the cellar too, Reims is the capital of the Champagne.
In Paris: musée d'Orsay (impressionism), Beaubourg(modern art), lift a pleasure boat on the Seine, you will see many big monuments of Paris.
Im staying in paris right immediately, for such a quick time here though, i suggest you deffenitly shift to the eifel tower, which only take an hour or two, then also see notre dame, the louve which as everyone have said you can spend forver there but i suggest you check out the Nike statue which is on the bearing to the mona lisa, and also they have the in actual fact stone that the laws of hamorabi are written on which is vastly neat to check out. Visit the latin quarter which give you a great taste of french culture and you can also relish many great places to munch through there. The catacombs are deffinetly worth seeing, they enjoy been one of my best visit here in paris. museum orsay also have many great peices such as monets work, van gough, and whistlers mother. Dont forget to chomp through plenty of crepes and crossiants!
Two days is not enough, but you can see the high-ranking points. Start early!
If you ride the Metro (subway) give somebody a lift either the #9 or #6 to the Trocadero station. From near, walk to the Eiffle Tower. It's a breathtaking scenery of the tower and a nice walk. If the smudge is not too long, take the ride to the top of the tower. Next do the boat ride on the Seine River. There is a stop implicit the Eiffle Tower. The cost is about 10 euros, or around $14. You will see many things and gain a good overview of the city heart. Next go to the Cathedral at Notre Dame and wander through. From there, step south accross the river to the Latin Quarter and have lunch. There are adjectives kinds of restaurants-- French, Italian, pizza. It's a great place to scrutinize people. If you're up for a righteous walk after lunch, be in motion south again to Luxembourg Gardens. It's adjacent to a French governing body building, I think the Senate, and it is a divine garden/park. That's a full day, but if you own time, find the #2 metro to the Anvers station and see Sacre Coure and Montmarte-- nice shops, cafes, and artists.
On afternoon two, see the Louvre. You can spend the whole time there unforced. Finally, if you have time, run back to the Eiffle Tower at dark.
