These are the traditonal foods and still are prepared. This is not the unbroken list but conceivably on another round I can include more. These foods the majority are prepared everyday. The lechon asado is prepared year round and if you can't wait until Christmas to drink some, many rob the trips to Guavate an area between Caguas and Cayey within the mountains where society eat lechon asado. There are as you would expect highways near toll boths but this does not beat those weak country roads that are constanly winding from North to South next to those large Flamboyant trees. On these aged roads you will see red brick square homes with window and a couple doors on a knoll by the road, here the caminero lived or the road taker. Back afterwards before asphalt was layed, the caminero would thieve care of the road cleaning it and reparing it at a trustworthy distance then the subsequent caminero would take attention of the other section of road. Some of these dated homes still stand today.
