Answers: all right tomorrow is a holiday in port of spain cos is sunday so unless u enjoy a schedule assembly for port of spain... it is going to be pretty dead
port of spain is the assets of trinidad and it is fairly a incredibly typical city, banks and food are glibly accesible.. transportation is easier if u have ur own motor.. if u dont have a saloon there is access to transportation to any member.

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, Oct. 7 - Cranes are active here again, working around the clock to erect some of the Caribbean's tallest skyscrapers against a surroundings of colonial-era buildings. Traffic snarls throughout this small island country, with import luxury cars rubbing up against 70's-era gas guzzlers left from the later time energy prices soared.
But it is not solitary the rising price of crude oil that have produced such excitement and activity contained by Trinidad, the Caribbean's largest petroleum producer and one of the few islands that is thriving at the present time. Trinidad's leap to the forefront in juice natural gas - a fast-growing nouns of the energy industry where on earth companies invest billions to chill the fuel to temperatures around 250 degree below zero and ship it across the sea in supertankers - have ignited swift growth here. Economic activity increased 13 percent within 2003 and could grow as much again this year. The economy have expanded for 10 consecutive years on Trinidad and Tobago, a twin-island nation of 1.3 million with an nouns nearly the size of Delaware.
Trinidad's gas resources have fueled a pattern of chemical factories, including nine ammonia plants, an iron and steel complex, and two of the largest methanol plants contained by the world. The conglomeration of factories, largely surrounded by Point Lisas, an industrial site and port south of the capital, Port of Spain, exports most of its production to the United States.
"We've become a importantly industrialized nation, something that was a pipe dream a few years ago," said Anthony Bryan, former director of the Institute of International Relations at the University of the West Indies on Trinidad. (END SNIP)

Trinidad is fine! Like anywhere else be on your p's and q's when venturing out. If you're staying at a hotel, arrange vehicle service through them. Port of Spain has the usual suspects (bars, clubs, restaurants). Shopping is OK at best and going into "town" on a Friday afternoon can be hectic. This week is the pan/jazz celebration and if you can go to Las Cuevas sand. If you are into nightlife the a trip to St James is in lay down. Its sort of like the West Village surrounded by NYC! They are up late partying and lifeless out! check out the site below
not much to do. there is muslim over at hand. and as i heard one adage when i there. "dont you know that muslims run s*** here. and the untaught gas also oil go to USA. have fun..
