Able service surrounded by Ottawa?
I'm moving to Ottawa, ON this coming June with my inherited (3 small kids). I'd like to know what cable company is better and more reliable base upon your experience. (Roger's cable, Vu Express or Bell) I'm renting through Minto and they sponsor Roger's. They say they proposal good promotions to Minto customers. I will be requiring not single cable, but phone service and internet also. So what I'm looking is full service, excellent quality and great price. Is in attendance any advice you may provide me? Minto renter's any experience beside Roger's?
Answers: I'm a Minto renter. Not too happy beside Minto as a landlord. I live surrounded by their most expensive property paying $2700/month for a 1 bedroom and the quality of service is abysmal. I'd dislike to see what their non-luxury offerings are like.
For internet I suggest TekSavvy http://www.teksavvy.com/en/index.asp I enjoy both Bell Sympatico and Rogers and I'm not happy near them. Bell Sympatico is scheduled for dissolution first week of May and as soon as TekSavvy is hooked up I'll be cancelling my Rogers internet. Both Bell and Rogers charge a great deal for bad trait service and they engage surrounded by some unacceptable business practises. TekSavvy is considerably smaller quantity expensive for the exact same service and when you call tech support you catch to speak to someone who is both knowledgeable and can speak english. If you check DSLReports nearby are reviews of ISPs and you'll see TekSavvy is the favourite among relations who are passonate about ISP standard. Plus 1/2 the price of Bell.
Phone service either Bell or TekSavvy again. Same talent the only benefit for TekSavvy would be bill consolidation should you choose to dance with them for internet.
Cable it depends on what you use TV for. I enjoy Rogers but no special deal from Minto.
Also as a side information. I'm not sure if all Minto properties own been converted but where on earth I live has. I no longer seize my hydro from Ottawa Hydro. Instead I'm forced to buy it from a 3rd party (which I believe is a company owned by Minto) and I immediately pay almost twice what I use to wages to Ottawa Hydro.
None of them are excellent, Rogers is probably the way to progress as they are the monopoly here and you can bundle everything together (TV, Internet, Home Phone, and mobile if you wish). I have have reliability problems with Rogers, but Bell is even worse.
