Anyone know how to take home a Caipirinha ??
So I bought a bottle of Cachaca .. Cut up 1 lime added it to a small glass.. added heap spoons of sugar .. mashed it surrounded by the glass. Added crushed Ice later some Cachaca and mixed it well ..
and it be WAY to strong .. do you add anything else to it ?

Are you using a shaker? it works better than just stirring.
I hold had them beside condensed milk also - you may want to try it - see if it cuts it down. Also try more limes.
Scale ingredients to 1 servings
2 tsp granulated sugar
8 limes wedges
2 1/2 oz cachaca
Muddle the sugar into the lime wedge in an unfashionable glass. Fill the cup with rime cubes. Pour the cachaca into the glass. Stir ably. The secret is sugar next to lemon juice...the mix

Ok. Cachaca 51 it is NOT good for caipirinha.
If you dont hold another kind of cachaca, try brand name it with vodka. Then you will own caipvodka that is as devout as caipirinha.
1 lime
2 ounces of cachaca
Sugar to taste
Ice cubes

You get enough answers already, but also try to receive caipirinha with any fruit... it is vastly popular in Sao Paulo. Instead of lime use any fruit... the strawberry is really apposite, also try with kiwi, watermelon... squeeze the fruit near sugar and then pour the cachaca and rime... let me know what you conjecture...

Don't taste equal because "cachaca 51" is so so... The best cachacas are in Brazil and not avalaible to export.
1 lime, 2 ounces of cachaca, sugar to zest and ice cubes.
But you can use other tropical fruit, such as kiwi, pinneaple, strawberry, etc. You can also use vodka instead of cachaca and net caipiroska, and, again, you can use other fruits to make roskas.
The most crucial thing is to ge a polite cachaca. Here in the US the best one to brand name drinks is Velho Barreiro, and it is not one of the most expensives. You can buy a bottle for about 12 to 15 dollars.
Have fun! But do not full yourself. Because of the sugar, you can drink in a hurry and you can get drunk existing easy. So, filch care!
