Answers: I live contained by Brazil! In Manaus (capital of the Amazon). I already went to Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Acre, Para. Well, it depends to where on earth you come to.
In the Amazon the highlights is the jungle exploration, the crossing of waters, the amazon theater, boat exploring.
Sao Paulo is basically the shopping precinct of Brazil, it's a huge and great city, has closely of stores and whole neighborhoods steadfast to shops and stuff. I'd recommend 25 de Marco and Braz. There is a very nice amusment park more or less 80 or 90 km from the capital, call Hopi Hari. It's could be compared to a theme park within the states, it's very fun.
Rio de Janeiro- a beautifull city, it have gorgeous beaches. For fun contained by the sand and people and partys, I'd hold to say Ipanema and Copacabana, in a minute if you want a great swimming area step to Buzios. (or to Santa Catarina).
But a VERY fun thing to do, is Pao de Acucar and call round our Cristo Redentor (kinda of like the statue of liberty).
Santa Catarina is also a gorgeous place. But not greatly of tourists go in attendance, it has great beach. And it has several impressively nice "colonial" towns. You know, those cute little cozy towns. Well.. those are the best places to visit I guess.. =)

ps) if you call in Rio de Janeiro, go to Pao de Acucar! In my feelings, its the funnest thing here.
Rio de Janeiro and the fame Amazon.
Let's start beside Rio de Janeiro - its has the BEST shoreline section the Copacabana and Ipanema, its a playground where on earth people strolling, playing volleyball or football contained by the beach although the shoreline itself is not good for swimming because of the big top BUT the sands and adjectives its activity compensate reasonably well. Rio used to be the playground of the rich and f¨ēted, not anymore.Another thing don't tolerate your guard down its a big city & comes with soaring crime. Don't bring your wallet & expensive things on the beach. Enjoy Rio its the BEST!
Now let go to the Amazon - it have the biggest unexplored jungle and river in the world, great for tough adventures and pure NATURAL. Although I enjoy to admit its hot and humid adjectives the time. Still theres no other place like the Amazon. Jungles, jungle, jungles....
