Answers: I spent within three wonderful weeks. My boyfriend is Brazilian and I went to unite his family and nearby he asked me to marry him. I am from Italy and some aspects of Brazil are really difficult to see because of my culture and way of enthusiasm, but the Country is wonderful. I have be to Rio, Belo Horizonte and Oro Preto and all of them are breath-taking. Rio is categorically one of the most beautiful cities I enjoy ever visited and Oro Preto is in recent times a little dependable city!
What can I say going on for the people? I love them so much that I am marring one of them.
Brazil is a huge catholic country, approximately 180 mi inhabitants, it's the solely country in South America which speaks Portuguese (quite different from Portugal though). It's a infantile country, basically an immigrant's country as the natives (indias are seldom seeing within the big cities). Brazilian people are a mixture of race: Europeans (Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy...), Japanese and African slaves. The biggest city is Sao Paulo (about 20 mi people, it's an expensive, business orient, international place, however I do not consider Sao Paulo to be a nice holiday destination). The capital is Brasilia which is approaching Camberra in Australia, it be build to be the capital and surrounded by my opinion is also not worth visit. You should go to Rio de Janeiro, which is a big but elegant place and then to the Northeast if you resembling beaches and heat weather. Should you be more interested in the wildlife, later go to Pantanal or Amazonia... I am Brazilian and can recount a lot more in the region of my country, but it would be nice to have a short time idea of what you approaching to know or do.

Brazil is a wonderfull country. I have lived here for 16 years mostly surrounded by Rio but also in S~ao Paulo. I also travel arround Brazil alot to the Northeaster portions. The individuals are very friendly and unfold to meeting unmarked people. There is almost no loathe in them and they are a peace loving populace. Unfortunately one characteristic of some Brazilians is that they may develope a friendship next to you with the hope of getting someting personal out of the relationship. They telephone call this "esperto" or street wise, so be carefull.

I spent a month in sao paulo brazil for a time off. They speak portugese, not spanish as i first beleived (so much for studying spanish!) The beaches are really nice and its a great place to try coconut milk/water. I strongly suggest you pop in some flea markets. The existing is worth about50 cents canadian and you can get loads of biddable deals. i get a handmade bow and arrows for 10$ There are all sorts of musical instuments made for gourds and beans. SOccer and tennis is EVERYWHERE! a university i visited have 3 outdoor soccer fields and 2 indoor field. no wonder brazil is so good at soccer. i recommend that you escape from the city for a short time while and go up to the mountains around sao paulo. The rainforest is an awesome place to see monkeys and lemurs. Take a bus or train down to rio de janero and see the christ. Rio is alot cleaner than sao paulo, but sao paulo have its nice spots.

Brazil is great! people are friendly and wonderful. Language is portuguese. Many don't speak argot but you will surprise how much you can learn within just a few days...
