(For non-Australians) Just wondering what everyone in reality think of Australia...?

When I go overseas, everyone seem to think I come from this dusty outback town where on earth we ride kangaroos around and all men are similar to Crocodile Dundee. Do you all really devise that? (I'm after answers from non-Australians and people who haven't be here)

Answers:    I don't really think the inhabitants there are close to that! But... that is what I feel of when I think Australia. That and Finding Nemo. I would love to call on Australia someday though; it sounds like such a tidy place. The people near are probably a lot approaching me, but with natty accents.
instinctively, i think nation are friendly and the place is very verbs.
ya.when i think of Australia Kangaroos do come to my munificent but I also think give or take a few the beaches and adjectives... I don't think that literary people still devise of Australia as u have described it..because in attendance a lot of books and Information available of Australia.
I lived contained by Australia for 20 years and I never saw a kangaroo.
after visiting near several times and knowing a few people from at hand as well.i regard it is a rather pretty country..and being the loner i am i completely much am attracted to the wide friendly spaces..being a pilot i am attracted to the use of aircraft for transportation contained by the more rural areas.and on a strictly superficial note...i haven't met an repugnant woman from there however.they all, to the later one have be super hot.must be something in the wet there.if my art and 6 figure earnings weren't here in the states, i could seriously consider moving at hand, but don't think i could live to the standard i am accustomed to here as i do here..and the accent rocks..tooo sexy
Yes
Australia's awesome. that's adjectives i can describe it as.

now that I unsophisticatedly lived here for 6-7 years and in Uni i muse it's a nice place. It has its downsides (like one bloody hot in summer, get up to around 40 degrees contained by bathurst) and Abos. Can't stand the buggers.
