CONFERENCE _ is it true?

That sum companys require to pay your own airfare or accomdation for a 3 days conference? how does it ensue?

Answers:    This is your third question asking exactly impossible to tell apart question, and my answer is still impossible to tell apart. The company (Qantas wasn't it) should pay for your airfare and digs.
I'd never heard of this in the past.
Is it anything to do with the tentative IR Laws?
If a company expects you to attend they should pay your expenses.
Paying for your own quarters, food etc, that's just wrong!
You are discussion rubbish and continually posting it too.
Go away, sober up or come back down, whichever it is and don't post this sort of nonsensical incoherent again.
Nothing to do with the IR Laws, cos it be happening in the past they came surrounded by. I worked at a High School and was restricted as to what I could attend depending on the budget (so even contained by Govt organisations, this happens). I do agree though, that if you are expected by your company to go to a conference, they should income the tab. I think the budget or nouns of budget, in some cases, influences most company decision when it comes to conferences and in-servicing.
Very true, in certainty my wife was only denied approval to attend a conference (the cheapest and closest one to where we live) but luckily I hold businees in this town so I'm going for work and taking her along beside me. I would also like to give that this conference gives her training credits that she requests to stay certified so she can keep her errand. Needless to say she'll be looking for a different assignment soon.
