Going to Vietnam during July, should i exchange to Us Currency or Vietnam dollars to spent at in that?

which is most preferable by them?

Is their thing expensive?

Answers:    Hi Pinky! I've be to Vietnam (Danang and Saigon) last December. I focus it is better if you change your currency to Vietnam money. The exchange rate at that time be 1 US Dollar = 16,000 Vietnamese Dongs. Don't be fooled by the high number though. That's how prices are over near. A nice meal costs more or less 80,000 dongs. A bottle of beer (they call it Bia) is around 20,000 to 30,000 dongs. However, keep some US dollars handy approaching for tipping or for hotel and airport transactions. Also, some shops there are likely to accept dollars (it's up to you which currency you want to earnings coz they always hold a calculator handy to convert their Dong prices into Dollars).

A good word of counsel: it is soooo great to shop around in Saigon especially surrounded by the market place (Cua Bac Market) because prices are really really really low. But even afterwards, don't settle for their prices just however for you COULD still haggle for a much lower price. It's really a good place to practice the art of haggle! Hope you enjoy your trip as much as I did! :)
Bring US dollars to Vietnam, and bring the 'big' record of $100 and $50 coz these denominations will give you better exchange rates to the Vietnamese Dong. And if you want to buy Dong next I would suggest that you go to the goldsmiths instead of bank for better rates.

Most traders in Vietnam prefer Dong for small transactions, but also adopt US Dollars for larger sums, then would return you the translate in Dong. Prices of merchanside within Vietnam are generally not expensive, but also depend on the city you're contained by and the district. I guess the same applies adjectives over the world.
of course you move them there. if your white and american, you better swing on tight to that money. im dead freakn serious. you better bring pepper spray and start working out your streanth. those little hooligans will try to rob you and the press girls will work their naughty hand on your bare skin. especially surrounded by july. your crazy for wanting to go that time of year. shift turn your oven to 250 and open the oven door and stand over it for 20 minutes. thats what vietnam feel like surrounded by july. more corruption, more robberies, so watch out. bring that weapon, but no firearms. their senate wont allow that.
You can bring a bit of US cash next to you but while in the country it is best to attain the local currency. You can even use an ATM machine within the major cities.
Towards the back of your trip don't change over too much currency becasue you don't want to be gone with too much Vietnamese Dong.
Keep it US

Screw the F-ing Vietnamese (lol jk)

umm seriously if you are goingto be in attendance long...month and a hlf or more.then translate to vietnamese...its not worth the hassel...also ive heard the US can export tax u if u use forign currency. idk

jsut heard it
you should correction to vietnam money because the cost is way smaller quantity and it wouldnt affect anything
