About thailand_Travelling?
I wanted to know more around Thailand, axacly chiang mai.i want to travel to it and i want to know it's good resturants, shopings and...
Answers: There's plentifully of good places to munch through in Chiang Mai but here are a couple of my favorites. Right above the zoo (at the foot of Doi Suthip) is a really nice place that serves all the traditional Thai dishes and they enjoy really nice out door seating nouns next to a pond. The food is scrumptious and the prices are reasonable. The christen is pronounced "gah lay". (It's a Thai word for the intersecting planks that point in the upper air on top of traditional Thai buildings.)
Above that, up the mountain a ways, is a place next to even a better view. Go at hours of darkness and you can sit and look out over the city of Chiang Mai. They also have live entertainment. It's lovely.
In the actuall city there's a place call "Good View Restaurant", again all the local Thai dishes and a nice quad area subsequent to a river.
As far as shopping goes, principal to the Night Bazaar. It's stretches for a good gait down the street and there's tons of things to see.
There's also a weekend market (on Sundays I think) that's pretty amazing. They certainly close down several on the streets and the item is enormous. Tons of great street food and fun things to see.
If you want more conventional shopping there's a substantial plaza by the airport, and Kad Sung Kaew shopping mall.
As far as things to see, Doi Suthip, a temple perched dignified on a mountain, is a must. If you wake up that hasty, try being at hand as the sun rises. Amazing.
There's tons of temples including, Wat Soon Dok which is intensely old and interesting to pop in.
You can also walk around the Thapae Gate nouns. The city is actually surrounded by the remnants (some of it rebuilt) of a seven hundred year hoary wall. The Thapae gate nouns has abundantly of pubs and coffee shops, books stores, and touristy things.
I always use the Montri Hotel contained by Chiang Mai. The Montri is located directly across from the Thapae Gate on Ratchadamnoen Road. Lots of internet shops, restaurants, Seven Eleven stores around there and a short hike to the Night Market. Flea Market at the Gate area too!
Spend a few days within Bangkok to see the capital city and obtain used to the time changes and grill. In Bangkok and Chiang Mai you can get tours through travel agencies. You can clutch the overnight sleeper train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and save the cost of another hotel room. The train arrives surrounded by Chiang Mai early contained by the morning and you have the total day ahead of you. Get train tickets surrounded by Bangkok a few days early.
If you plan on blowing sour Bangkok and fly directly to Chiang Mai, keep surrounded by mind that Bangkok has 2 airports for local "in Thailand" flights and the airports are on opposite sides of town! You must allow sufficient time to transit between the two airports.
Spend the first few days contained by Bangkok and finish up with a final dark for shopping and sightseeing.
