Whats the tagalog word for the ilonggo "Manol"?

Answers:    I can't grope for the exact translation in Tagalog but you can read aloud "ignorant" in English. When you use "Ay, promdi" that's the closest within Tagalog when you say "manol" or "buki" surrounded by Ilonggo. (No offense to promdis. I am one and I am proud to have come from the province)

Example, you go to the city from a very far-flung small town for the first time and you say "Wow, look at the buildings! It's so high!" and the Ilonggo next to you say, "Ay, ka-MANOL man simo man" (Ay ang MANOL mo!)

With reference to sweetwater above, we do use the word to be going to "tanga". Like you do stupid things - not exactly because you are indeed stupid but because you are MANOL.. =D
battgirl explained it better.. I'm an ilonggo, so, "manol" in english is unconscious.. i don't know the tagalog word for it.
