When does songkran ends this week?
I'm tired of being stuck home doing nil..I want to go out but I don't want to return with wet. Last Saturday, they started celebrate early and I didn't know till the children sprayed their sea guns on us while we were riding on a motorbike. Even at 6 surrounded by the evening, people are still without a roof over your head wetting everyone. When will it really really ruin?
Answers: It's different in every city. I imagine Bangkok it is 16th April. Pattaya I think 19th April.
I newly happened to be traveling through Thailand and Laos for Songkran a few years ago and that be the most annoying thing! We be staying right in the heart of Banglamphu, the jamboree district. . .yuk! Honestly, it seemed close to the Thai people and (rediculous tourists) be so into Songkran that it didn't end next to the actual end-date. As soon as we left Bangkok and go to Laos the next week, we lately happened to hit their New Year celebration, too, and that last another week!
The best thing I insist on I can offer is to procure out of the district you're in. Not every district celebrate Songkran with such tenacity, but you'll probably bring back wet going to/from your hotel. Sorry! I can totally pity!
It's depened on where you are and where on earth you go, different agenda for the whole Thailand.

Some Thai people are outstandingly irrational and nondisciplined, don't know how or when to behave. They always want to do everything sabai sabai, but create trouble to other. Sorry for that.
