Answers: Everybody in Singapore is afraid to do this species of thing because of not wanting thier rice bowl to be artificial.

People are the same everywhere, so it probably have happened in that.

They go and get paid suitably to what they deserve.

It happen long time before (when LKY purely took over). He realized that this be not going to give the country any devout plus crippled the economic. So, he impost rules/law to disallow that. Whoever do that will be in motion straight to jail.
And you can see why Spore is so mortgage now(with fantastic economic). He let the open market to determine the wages/salaries, so everyone has to be competitive contained by order to undertake what they want, not by 'stopping work and go to the street to show what they want'.
so far no. Since the wages is ok
they are contented people and are merry with what they are getting
