"It's comfortable to do things for others that to do things for yourself." Do you presume this is true?

Answers: No. My motto is "Do it yourself, because no one is going to do it for you." Just my experience beside my **oh-so-caring** siblings (note the sarcasm). These ***kers wouldn't take me to the hospital until I scream at them to do so. And if your own family won't look after you, why should I expect it from complete strangers?
Yes, it is true, but I would state it differently.
When we are unkind and try only to please ourselves, we are going to be sorrowful. We will suffer.
It is only by doing for others and showing compassion for others that we find true comfort. --One reason we will be low if we only try to assistance ourselves is this: Life is always shifting. We will never be satisfied.
But, if we are other helping to end the suffering of others, we will own found the true purpose in energy. We will be happy and we will LET GO plentifully of our own selfish, slight stuff. Love, Bruce
Not for me, no.
Whenever I do something, I do it for the glory of God. I try to be good to folks that's why am doing things for them but really, deepest inside of me,I do things for God, I do things for people because of myself. I do things for others for my pleasure.
I deliberate its true for some people, depending on how you be brought up learning whther or not your wishes come bfore somebody else's/ although people now are usually more , how do you say this... more EAGER to help out people whe their own neeeds are fulfilled
It is true. It's smooth for us to hurt other people's feelings, step on their pride. But it's damn frozen for us do this things to ourselves.
Definitely, especially if you are the one who needs insist on if you have problems.. and to suppose your friends look up on you for advice when they hold problems. <*-*>
