There are lots of hotels within Pattaya equal to or better for around the same price.
If you are coming to Pattaya during high-ranking season the hotel closest to the beach will be more expensive than the other places.
Sawasdee hotels on Soi Diana and the one on the corner of Soi Honey Inn and Soi Buakhaw regularly have special offer. The Sawasdee that is on Soi Honey Inn, close by the Intown Holiday Hotel will probably the cheapest.
If I had to pick one (I never use them) I would probably be in motion for the Sawasdee hotel on Soi Buakhaw (corner of Soi Honey Inn) because of the pool. They have "adjectives you can eat" breakfast buffets there too. The breakfast buffet is okay but of inferior quality the Apex and Lek on Pattaya 2nd Road.
During low season in Pattaya it is assured to get rooms near a walk-in. If you book a room with one of them you could lately do a couple nights and later look around for something else if you are not satisfied.
The locations for these Sawasdee hotels is pretty correct because you can walk to frequent places from any of those locations.
