1st time flying from commercial..?
On may 3rd im going to Augusta,Georrgia from Philly international airport. This is my first time flying commercial. My dad is a pilot in the airforce, but i've other been on Army planes to and from frequent destinations.
My question is If my flight is at 8:10am, what time should i arrive at the airport. Second, what are the luggage restrictions within general? Also, i own a layover for 1 1/2 hrs in charlotte,NC, past flying into augusta.
When i get stale the plane, what do i do?Where do i go?

Answers: Since you are flying from PHL, you would want to go and get there 2 hours faster since it is a large airport and you enjoy US Airways screwing up that airport. Basically you can check contained by two bags for free that are 49 pounds or smaller number. If you check in 3 or more lots and/or bags that are 50 pounds or more, you will be charged. Generally, airlines will not adopt bags 75 pounds or more.
When you receive off the plane when you connect surrounded by Charlotte, you will have to turn to the assigned gate scheduled on your ticket. Don't worry give or take a few your checked baggages as the handlers own responsibility over them.
Now when you leave Augusta, a short time ago be there one hour untimely because it's a small airport, and security would be a breeze.

If your flight is programmed to leave at 8:10 I would not arrive to the airport any then than 6:30. You definitely want to product sure that you give yourself plenty time to get through indemnity.
For restrictions on luggage and how to pack certain items (like medication and liquids similar to shampoo and etc, you can go to the website for the airline and that will afford you all the information that you have need of.
When you get sour the plane, the first thing I would do is find the revenue for your next flight. Once you know that, you could walk find a bite to eat or some magazine to read at some of the shops in the airport. If you know where on earth the gate is for your subsequent flight then you know that you will be capable of get within and in dash to board.

I like to arrive at the airport going on for 2 hrs early, this give me plenty of time so I am not rushing to get to my proceeds. The 2 1/2 layover in Charlotte isnt doomed to failure. Charlotte is the nicest airport that I have be to, you will like it. As far as restrictions, try the website of your airline, they should answer adjectives your questions near, but some tips are, make you pass on as light as possible, it you are packing liquid, they must be travel size and packed within a zip lock baggie, (no sea bottles, aerosol cans) hope this helps for a time
also, when you get past its sell-by date your plan to get to your connecting flight in attendance is usuallly someone there to assist you to explain where on earth your next total admission money is, if not in recent times ask an employee and they will describe you
