A examine something like flying over the Antarctic on a passenger plane?

If I was to fly from CapeTown, South Africa, to Auckland, New Zealand, could I fly over the Antarctic or would I hold to go around it? Why?

Answers:    No, because the with the sole purpose available flights to New Zealand are via. Perth and Sydney, thus you will not fly over the antartic.

Your routing will be JNB-SYD via. PER and from SYD connecting to CHC/AKL
