When will the airlines drop the present excess-bagge charge, and charge airfairs relevant to your excess weight level?
I see a small old woman, weighing perchance 50K, being charged an excess-baggage cost, and behind her is a obese man, weighing perchance more than 100K.but it seems his bagge is in the weight limitations. So, her bagge is 36K, plus the body-weight 50K=86K
His baggage is exactly 22.1K, plus the 100K+ of his gigantic body, which would give 122.1+K
She get charged, but he does not!
Where is the justice within that?
Answers: I guess it's because no one is carrying the portly man across the tarmac and hauling him into the belly of the plane. If they did, he'd be charged a excise.
I guess the problem is not simply weight, which is mostly self-inflicted, but body size, which is not beneath one's control. So if you had a massively tall but lean bloke, he could be charged more than a short, lean bloke - but it's not his shortcoming that he is tall. Theoretically impossible to tell apart set of clothes would weigh more as well, since there's more matter involved - but again, not his fault that he is elevated and thus heavier.
