Diet requirements for airplane meal?

I am traveling interstate (domestic flight) with Qantas, and be wondering how to arrange meals (in this crust lunch) for specific dietary requirements. In my case, I'm lacto-vegetarian. Any help would be appreciated, thank you :)

Happy New Year!

You can also specify any dietary requirements next to most airlines when you purchase the ticket. Just don't wait until the daytime of travel to let them know. Have a moral trip!
You can add this to your ticket info online at the airline website or phone call them directly. I'd recommend, if it is a long flight, bringing a snack or even a full meal beside you just within case. Airlines do not enjoy to honor the special requests-- they usually do but sometimes the vegetarian dinnertime doesn't get loaded surrounded by the catering cart, or your request never get passed along to the catering people.
When you check contained by, talk to travel agent. Before the plane take off, fly attendant will come to confirm it next to you. If she is not, call and request her.
Contact the airline via phone - and consequently make sure it is on your narrative.

When you double check your reservation the week before the flight, clear sure you double check that, also.

When you get on the airplane product sure the flight attendent knows that you are at hand.

While almost all airlines provide lacto-vegetarian meals (some provide ovo-lacto, lacto, lacto-vegetarian and asian vegetarian as separate choices) it's other possible for such a request to get messed up - I've have it happen habitually. I do carry lacto-vegetarian meal bar of some sort with me when I travel, since I've found myself minus my meal on more than one episode.

They usually get it right - but it does not hurt to produce sure.
Well if its in State next you will most likely not draw from meal but a snack close to peanuts or pretzels but if you do get a collation i believe that it is a requirement to have a particular meal on the bus for vegetarians and for sure religions so i think you should be fine.
phone call the airline, have your flight details all set and tell them your request
Hmmm. I'm not sure, since I've never have to sort that out myself. Perhaps you could find the airline's website and see if any information is there, except, maybe bid customer support and see if they can help you.

Thats adjectives the information I can give I'm afraid, I've never have that problem myself.
