Can i acquire on a plane if i lone own an expired self?
i got my wallet stolen and I enjoy to get on a plane on Saturday. The solely government issued ego I have is an expired drivers license.
Answers: Airlines adopt alternative forms of I.D. See site below to see united Airolines policy. Then , you can CALlL your airline and ask what they will adopt for sure.
you probably can but be prepared for extra security checks.
It might work. It is expired, but it is an ID that isnt not genuine. My dad had an expired passport and they consent to him use it to fly to Canada, so they arent completely strict, but I really dont know - you might want to call to airlines 800# or the airport.
I'd be at the DMV on Friday morning to catch a new one. You don't want a TSA agent on a power trip ruining your time off by not letting you board the plane.
The TSA does not accept an expired drivers license as a valid form of ID.
They may miss the reality that it is expired, but if they catch it they will not agree to you through.
I never understood it, you can't drive on it but it is still you... anyway, best of luck.
Look on the airline's website to see if you can use something else.
Do you hold a certified birth certificate? Credit card or other card beside your photo? Perhaps you have some form of secuity self from work?
Do you have a police report of the incident? This might be a virtuous idea to bring. The grounds expired ID's wont work is because potientially, someone else could use them.
Good luck!
