Traditionally, what are the cheapest days to fly to Las Vegas?

I want to go to Vegas in September and have always heard that there are cheaper days of the week to fly than others.

Answers:
Definately Mon-Thurs. Friday and Sunday are the two most expensive days to fly anywhere. Tues and Wed are the two cheapest days. But you also have to know what conventions are going on to get a cheaper fare. But it also depends on the airline. If you chose one that is like Southwest or Jet Blue that has set fares, you just have to get in early enough.

The main thing is book 30 days in advance. Look at the travel sites, then check the airlines themselves. No matter what website you use, READ ALL OF THE FARE RULES! I honestly find the best deals directly with the airlines themselves. Southwest and Jet Blue do not participate in the travel sites so go directly to their website. This far in advance you hve the best option for their lowest fares.

mon-thurs are usually the cheapest from my experience, as are the hotels. Last time I did that

drawback.. Your selection of shows are greatly reduced if that matters to you
Flying in from Sunday through Wednesday is good (as long as there is not a convention in town) - and the hotels are cheaper on those days as well. If you go to Travelocity or some such site, it will usually give you a calendar with the hotel prices for each day (which do vary from week to week). DO NOT go during Labor Day Weekend - unless you want to spend a fortune! Weekends in general are very high - and very crowded.
friday and saturday
