Answers: Possibly 2009 or 2010. Maybe Greensboro since Skybus pulled out and filed for liquidation, but RDU or CLT more predictable. I don't see this as an immediate requirement in their gridiron, or quickly profitable, since VA's hub is SFO, and westward flights are already well-handled by USAir, American, and other established airlines flying from NC. Southwest, Jetblue, and American already deep-rooted at RDU, and USAir at CLT, we'll have to see who VA feel more confident going head-to-head with.
