I'm Lebanese, the nice places in Lebanon are Beirut Downtown known as SOLIDERE, Jeita Grotto, Faraya or Arz if you like to ski, , Harissa ans Mar Charbel to visit religious places, Kaslik and Monot street for night clubs but there's a lot more, like if you have time you can hike in Kannoubin Valley it's really nice. here's a link for pictures http://souwar.yaacoub.com

I've never been to Lebanon, but I heard that this time of the year is suitable for Ice Skiing. You MUST go to the Soldier (it's a complex of restaurents, cafes and I think shops)

i'm from Lebanon, but not the country! lol. sorry, but heard it's not a good place to be there rt now so please be careful and travel w freinds..try to stay in the public areas and off back streets where gangs tend to hang in any city in any country. and get ur shots.we dont want u bringing anything home to us. lol.. good luck and take ur winter wear.it off season there too! yawm jamil! or marahaba! practice the language too u will need it!
